Have a 3 year old Urban Star 38x30 and it's the same (2016 vs. 2019)! Nice and stretchy so I can bend my knees no problem (no knee/thigh tearing potential). Stretch is mostly in the width, maybe 80% width & 20% length. I can see them working for waist 36-40.Different numbers on the tag (2016 vs. 2019) but it seems to be just thread/embossing change differences or maybe a color difference. Pockets are the same depth, deep enough for me and keys & 3 blade 3" pocket knife, wallet, iPhony 5S (all in different pockets).Going to buy more.
