Even the petite is WAYY to long. Now I have to pay to get them hemmed as my hands are too arthritic. Other than that, they fit nicely.NYDJ uses high quality material with a soft, attractive feel and look. Fit used to be perfect, but now too tight. (I hate to admit that may be due to a change in my size.) Price is very good. I'll order the next size up, if it is available.I ordered a petite which fits good except the length, they are very long. I can fold it up 4 times. Save your money.I bought these jeans for my mom. She's normally a 12 so I sized down to a 10 like it said in the instructions and they fit perfectly and look great!These jeans were great! The fit was great except the length. I really wanted to keep them but the length.This is my first pair of pants in this brand. I am 5'3", pear shaped, big butt, little waist, big-ish thighs, tiny upper body, 145 lbs, and I got the 8 petite, which is perfect. They would fit 140-150lbs for sure--probably better on 140lbs, depending on the look you want. I don't usually get petites because I'm short waisted and have long legs (such that it is at 5'3"), but I took a chance because these were a good price when I purchased them. I will hang them, which I would have done anyway, but I will need to wear flatter shoes (not ballet flats--but 1.5 inch sandal/shoe) with this to have a graceful length, because I like pants to break at my shoe. Love these! I got the tan color (called feather), and they are not see through. They have stretch. I intend to use them at work with jackets, and they will work for that. Love! Pants never fit me. I always buy the size that fits my butt and have the waist taken in. These actually fit. I'm so pleased to have found this brand. I hope this pair isn't a fluke.This style is classic - hits below ankle/top of foot (0Petite), snug jeans, quality fabric, nice stretch. Wish they came in more colors other than only denim blues & black. Would buy every color!I would have liked to give these jeans a 5. Great fit. Great color. Really, they give me a whole new look. But, as another reviewer has already pointed out, they are ridiculously long, especially for petite. In order to keep them, I will have to bring them to a tailor for shortening. So much for the great price! And who needs this inconvenience?? The description should have listed the inseam somewhere. I never would have bought them if I had know they were 34 inches long!! Size 0P. (I usually take a 2P so the advice to go a size down is good advice.)I love NYJD jeans and to find small size a bonus .The fit is tight but they have a little stretch . They are mid rise . Colour is real blue with shading on leg making them flattering .very pleasedI am very happy with this purchase. Will be buying this in another colour.Always delighted with NYDJ in petite size and these did not disappoint.
