I have only worn them once, so I can't speak to longevity. They move with you. I personally don't enjoy an elastic waistband. They are pricey, but I would buy them again.Held up against light rain perfectly and fits as expected. Only time water soaked through was while being in light-medium rain for a long period of time (an hour or two). Being most people won’t be in the rain that long, they worked as expected. I recommend them.In the world of rain pants, these are by far the most stylish option out there. I am 5’5 and 135 lbs and bought both an XS and a S. They both fit, and were surprisingly flattering for rain pants — but would have preferred the S if I wanted to layer leggings underneath. I did end up returning them before wearing them hiking because I decided they would be too hot for the spring/summer backpacking season. Since they’re waterproof they aren’t very breathable (that’s kinda the point) but will repurchase in the fall.True fit and great for hiking in the rain.
