As a thick king, I wanted hoochy shorts to show of the peach my mama gave me but most importantly also have kept and squated for in my weight loss journey. These shorts are it. They hug every curve like they are carresing every single bit of cake you have in your bakery all the while not feeling like they’re over lightly thigh. Bending over to pick up something? Do not worry your little heart about fear of ripping cause come throng stretch. Let me tell you those rips in the back give just the perfect amount of peakaboo you ever need. I walked through the tables of a LA gay club and my dump truck was what everyone was looking at. They also washed well and didn't shrink in the dryer. I probably wouldn't put them in the dryer again just in case. I also don't know where I'm going to wear these outside of the cowgirl party I went to, but I'll figure that out on my own time.For my tall girls (over 5’6) with thick thighs, buy these shorts! They don’t ride up and there’s plenty of room in the thigh area due to their stretchinessI am in love with these shorts! So not hesitate to get them. Im actually throwing every pair that i can get in my size!!! Its a nice length shorts, its high waisted, the waist could be a tad fitted but nothing a belt cant fix. I will update with a better picture at a later date when i dress them up…I was very hesitant to buy them since they looked pretty tight and also I wasn't sure how often I'd be wearing them, what with the back/pockets torn out like they were. (I get that it's how they were designed, it's just a bit out of my comfort zone, and I was trying something new.)After reading some of the reviews and being a bit reassured that they weren't too small or made of very unforgiving fabric, I got myself a pair and hands down, they're my favorite pair of shorts to wear now. Even just around the house, if I'm not going out. They are SO stretchy and comfortable, and you honestly don't "feel" that the back of them are ripped/cut out. The strips of fabric back there don't push or cut into you, and it feels almost like they aren't ripped at all. They do ride up a bit, especially if you're sitting for long periods of time and shifting around, but nothing too uncomfortable. I do have to be careful about hiking them up or down if I need to adjust where they sit, because sometimes manual adjustment of all the rips in the back is required.And to my absolute happiness, the front pockets are MUCH bigger than pockets you find on women's shorts at any store - likely to compensate for the fact that you don't have any back pockets, but I can fit my full iPhone in my front pocket, and that's the first time I've been able to say that about a pair of women's clothing in almost 8 years.Gonna have to get me another pair of these.You won't be disappointed! Stretchy and fits nice! A must have for girls night. I'm not fat or skinny. More like Serena Williams build.They were perfect .
