Rollerblade Zephyr Women's Inline Skates - Black/Purple Size 9 for Fitness, Outdoor Recreation & Roller Skating Rinks

I received these today and would love to say that I loved them. They are beautiful and appear well-made. Sturdy and the blade was clean and well attached. Easy to put on and lace up. I have very wide feet and the foot part of the skate fit perfectly, but the ankle was too tight. I was unable to close the little ratchet strap at the top. If you have thing to average sized ankles/calves I'm sure they would probably fit OK, but sadly I do not. I am unable to comment on how they are on the ice or how they would hold up with regular use since I am unable to fasten the ankle. My personal opinion though is that this type of hard-sided skate fits more like hockey skates than figure skates. I like that as I normally skate with rented hockey skates at the rink, though I have had/worn different figure skates in the past.Unfortunately there is no pre-paid return option. :( It's going to cost me so much to return these that I would only get half my money back. I may as well sell them to a used sporting goods store for that - I'll get the same back and someone else can get a cheap pair of skates.
